Come and celebrate the Winter Solstice with the Trafford HongKongers CIC. Everyone is welcome to participate and meet new friends at this free event.
Saturday, 18th December 2021 1.30-4pm
In the event, some popular cultural items of Hong Kong will be displayed and demonstrated, such as calligraphy, faichuns, chopsticks, mahjong, yuhahai, red packets. You can also show off your calligraphy, write some faichuns, use chopsticks, stack mahjong tiles, shake yuhahai dices, design your own red packets, understand the history of Hong Kong*, learn some basic Hongkongese and take photo with a ‘big moon’#!
Since there is no carpark near St. John’s Centre, and there will be a match of Manchester United vs Brighton starting at 12:30pm on that day, using public transport is recommended.
This event is organised by Trafford Hongkongers CIC, sponsored by the Inclusive Neighbourhoods Grants of Trafford Council, and supported by Hongkongers in Britain, Hong Kong Cultural Community, HKG International and Salford Hongkongers.
We look forward to seeing you, our neighbours and friends.
Tickets are free, but please book your place on Eventbrite here:
