Everyone is welcome at the launch of the book
Intergenerational Project – “We Got Talking!”
at St John’s Centre
Saturday, 9th November 5-8pm
This book has been created by the students of STEP Supplementary School, based at St John’s Centre. It contains several stories whereby the students discovered their family’s heritage and culture by interacting with a grandparent or elder relative to find out what life was like for them in their motherland (country where they were born and/or nurtured). This book would make a great gift for any age!
The event will include a talk by guest speaker Paul Eme, and a raffle with many great prizes. All funds raised will support STEP’s work with local young people. Please note this is a cash-only event.
STEP currently have vacancies for students from years 4-8, focusing mainly on Maths and English. Go to the STEP page for more information.
